POSITION SUMMARY
Provides technical support for the CNC production team in a high volume, fast paced plant environment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, etc.
Writes code; Creates program instructions; Programs routers; Executes adjustments
Develops machining processes, optimizing the machining of the component
Provides technical support and direction to employees, demonstrating knowledge of all hands-on duties related to the department
Plays a leadership and mentoring role in providing technical assistance and training to less experienced employees
