The Native Bead

Hey everyone! Just giving a bit of an update. I’ve had a lot going on the past several months but will be getting back to making more items & revealing many new items after Christmas 😁

Tie-dyed color beads 🙂

New color for what I have coming 😁 remember these beads are hand rolled, no tools or molds are being used. This is how I want to make my beads to show the craftsmanship behind them.

Bead making process. I plan to start making videos soon 😁

Two bead color patterns finished & a third started, I just have to add holes in those and bake, then sort for as close to the same sizes as possible. My beads will always vary slightly in shape & size because I do hand roll them & use no tools to shape or cut the clay or a guide for drilling the holes. I always wanted to make beads this way because in earlier times this would be how beads were made & I think it’s something that we need to hold onto or it becomes a dying Art 🙂

First batch finished. I only have about 200 more of this color alone to make 😁 all of my beads are hand-rolled. I use no tools or cutters. I make my beads this way because I want to honor how it was done in earlier times.

I have new amazing products coming soon! These are the first bead colors that go with it. More to come on what I’ll be releasing in the coming months 😁 it will take me a few months to make all the beads needed before a release date!

Multi-color beads kids bracelets for a more colorful look 😁

I will have two kid’s sizes in the bracelets at the event next weekend at Woodmill Winery for their Grape Stomp Festival (August 23rd)

Two Halloween styles finished with a resin jack-O-lantern pumpkin button for the closure.
