I’ve had a three week hiatus from clay after my sales at the beginning of this month. Right before my break I had made 8 short mugs and 8 tall mugs but never trimmed or added handles. Luckily they were wrapped up tight and I put them all in a damp box for a few days and the were good to trim and add handles today. The tall mugs will be more of my sketch mugs and I’ve been wanting to make these twig handled mugs with birds for a while. They came together today and I couldn’t be happier. They are exactly how I imagined them in my head.
