It was a treat to have my dad, Richard Perkins as well as Husband/Daddy Extroidinaire for Father’s Day dinner. And I haven forgotten how to turn it out, despite being out of practice. Assyrtiko while I prep…
Heirloom tomato carpaccio with burrata.
Grilled Romain with lemon dill vinaigrette, pearl peppers and parm croutons.
Grilled flank steak marinated in balsamic, worsterchire, SPG, lemon juice
Pinot noir with the steak
Grilled peaches and cinnamon ice cream
I broke the caramel sauce ☹️

On Juneteenth, why not grab a bottle from a black-owned winery? A couple of my favorites are McBride Sisters (their sparkling rose is one I always have on hand, but their red blend is great too) and Brown Estate (Betelgeuse rose is perfect for the summer, but don’t miss their Zinfandel). Also, McBride Sisters has a really cool origin story that you can listen to on Guy Raz’s podcast. Throwback to 2018 when 𝔻𝕣. 𝔹𝕠𝕕𝕕𝕚𝕔𝕜𝕖𝕣-𝕐𝕠𝕦𝕟𝕘 and I took Napa by storm. I still remember the oniony cheddar cheese we had at Brown that was to die for with their reds! McBride Sisters Collection Brown Estate ✋🏾🍇→🍷🤚🏾 [21+]]
