One thing you’ll probably never notice on a wedding day is how much goes into protecting the moments you can’t get back.

When vows are being exchanged or a parent is giving a speech, there’s no second take. That’s why I use recorders like the DR-10X as a backup source for ceremony and reception audio.

Not because I love gear, but because I love knowing those words are safe.

Sometimes the most important part of wedding filmmaking isn’t the footage, it’s making sure the moments can be relived long after the day is over.

The best gear isn’t always the gear with the most features, it’s the gear that lets you focus on the job.

A wedding film isn’t just about documenting ONLY what happened on your wedding day.

But hearing how your parents, friends, and loved ones felt as they watched it unfold? That’s the part that becomes priceless.

That’s why I don’t just film moments……          
I capture the people behind them.

One of my favorite monitors to use on a gimbal lately is the FEELWORLD P6XL

What makes it different for me is the built-in battery. No NP-F battery hanging off the back, which keeps the setup lighter, cleaner, and way easier to balance for wedding days and run-and-gun shooting.

Also been really liking the 6” display and 1200 nits outdoors when shooting in bright conditions.

Battery life is rated for up to around 2 hours built in, which is honestly super convenient for quick setups and moving fast throughout the day.
