🦁🐺 Meet Lion & Wolf – Two Brothers Looking for Their Forever Home! 🐺🦁

Lion and Wolf have been together since the very beginning. After losing their mother at a very young age, these brothers were rescued by a kind Good Samaritan and lovingly bottle-fed until they were strong, healthy, and ready to take on the world. Today, they are thriving, affectionate kittens who are eager to find a family of their own.

Wolf is the adventurous one with a heart as big as his name. He absolutely adores people and is happiest when he’s perched on his foster mom’s shoulder, handing out face kisses and soaking up attention. Curious and fearless, he loves exploring his surroundings, climbing cat trees, and investigating whatever is happening nearby.

Lion is a classic orange sweetheart with a calm, easygoing personality. Nothing seems to faze him—big dogs, older cats, or new experiences are all met with gentle curiosity and affection. He loves laser pointers, feather toys, cozy hammocks, and being his foster mom’s loyal “office assistant,” often curled up in her lap while she works.

Both boys get along wonderfully with the older cats and large dog in their foster home. They spend their days playing, wrestling, chasing toys, and then curling up together for a well-earned nap. Whether it’s Wolf giving kisses from your shoulder or Lion melting into your arms for chin scratches, these brothers are full of love and personality.

Lion and Wolf are the perfect combination of playful, affectionate, and easygoing. They have shared every step of their journey together, and we would love to see them continue their adventures side by side in a forever home.

🐾 KITTEN SEASON IS HITTING HARD 🐾

We wish we could say the calls are slowing down, but they aren’t.

Every single day, we are contacted about abandoned kittens, pregnant moms, injured strays, and litters with nowhere to go. They are coming from neighborhoods, parking lots, sheds, construction sites, animal control, and concerned citizens who simply don’t know where else to turn.

The heartbreaking truth is that our intake is at its highest point of the year, while our adoptions are at their lowest.

For every cat or kitten that finds a home, several more are waiting to take its place. Our foster homes are overflowing. Supplies are disappearing as quickly as they arrive. Veterinary bills continue to grow as we provide medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, emergency treatment, and specialized care for the tiniest and sickest kittens.

We never want to say no to an animal in need, but we are reaching a point where our resources simply cannot keep up with the number of lives needing help.

Right now, the two things we need most are:

Beautiful Mariska is an 11-month-old calico girl with the sweetest doe eyes and a gentle soul to match. This lovely young lady has a serene disposition and an affectionate nature that makes her a joy to have around.

Mariska loves spending time with her people and is always happy to share her quiet companionship and gentle affection. One of her favorite pastimes is relaxing on a screened-in porch, watching squirrels and the world go by with quiet fascination.

She gets along wonderfully with the other cats in her foster home and has also done well with cat-friendly dogs, making her a great candidate for a variety of family situations.

Meet Xaviaer!!

When Xaviaer was rescued back in January, it was clear life had not been kind to him. We suspect this handsome boy had spent his entire life surviving outdoors on his own. At first glance, he looked almost cartoonish — his tiny little body weighed under 3 pounds, about the size of a 12-week-old kitten, yet he had the face of an adult cat. He arrived terribly sick with a severe URI, painfully underweight, and struggling just to get by.

As if that wasn’t enough, Xaviaer later developed a ruptured eardrum caused by large polyps hidden in his soft palate that were obstructing his breathing. Poor guy had likely been struggling to breathe normally for quite some time. Thankfully, after surgery, medical care, and lots of TLC in foster care, Xaviaer finally got the chance to feel what comfort and safety are like.

And now? His beautiful personality is shining brighter every day.
Xaviaer has blossomed into the most loving little gentleman. He’ll happily flop down at your feet, roll over for attention, and turn on his nonstop purr motor the moment you acknowledge him. He seems to adore everyone he meets and has fully embraced the indoor kitty lifestyle — regular meals, soft beds, and humans to love him suit him perfectly.
After surviving so much, Xaviaer is finally healthy, happy, and ready for the forever home he’s never had before. We would love nothing more than to see this incredibly deserving boy find a family of his very own — someone who will cherish him for the resilient, affectionate, and special cat he truly is.

Mabel is truly like a beloved family member you didn’t realize was missing. She has the sweetest, easiest personality and brings such a calm, loving presence wherever she goes.

Mabel deserves a family who will see just how wonderful she is and love her forever. She’s the kind of kitten that makes your home feel warmer just by being in it. 💕
