Sometimes Real Estate can be weird so here’s a little story time:

💥We were notified a week before closing that a buyer and lender were requesting 3 weeks of additional time to start the lending process all over with a lesser loan program. We found a way to get everything to work and even benefit the buyer even more thanks to the help of .law! Who doesn’t love a better rate and bringing less money to closing 🙌🏼
We didn’t even represent the buyer but if we can make miracles happen and everyone wins in the end then why not?!

💥 Had a totally unforeseen issue happen in a home but it was remedied, fixed and buyers were ecstatic just in time - as much as you can try to prepare for the unexpected, Real Estate is really about finding solutions for the even more unexpected & how you handle it.

💥 Then this weekend we played musical houses! We had multiple offers and while having multiples is great … what’s even better is finding the perfect fit for the buyer so everyone wins 👏🏼

Now to wait for another fabulous offer or two to roll in and see what the next ones bring 🤩

March was full of some wonderful people and stories!

✨My very first seller clients EVER (aka some of my amazing fam) called me up and said they were in need of a home and we found the perfect one. Im so thankful they trusted me back then and again, now. The majority of a Realtor’s business is friends and family and I’m so incredibly thankful for my village ❤️

✨I helped a family find their perfect home after finding out some rough medical news - this home will be customized to meet all of their needs and will also be absolutely beautiful!

✨Last but not least, we’ve started selling our last phase in Langdon Ridge & they are FLYING before we can finish! Get them before they’re gone ✈️

I hear it’s International Women’s Day but honestly what does that truly mean? If you Google it, it says it’s a day to celebrate social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. So… you can catch me working most of the day with a baby in my arms or on my hip because there ain’t no multi-tasking like that of a woman 🤹🏼‍♀️

I love theorizing about whether this is causation or correlation 📊Are renters younger, potentially have lower income, frequent moving costs, bigger spending on everyday things rather than on larger repairs or is it simply causation that owning a home is the answer to wealth.
Personally, I think it all depends on where you are in life, what your lifestyle is, your spending habits, the ability to invest or save, your financial abilities and what your goals are as we all view wealth differently.

I read a quote the other day that said “Short Term Pain, Long Term Gain”. Is it fun to budget, work overtime or not buy things you want? NO but can you imagine the amazing things that homeownership will reward you with in the future? If just anyone could buy a home right out of the gate, there wouldn’t be any left!
Some fave tips:
- Higher Interest Accounts - Compare banks & rates. Talk to your bank to see what options they may have other than a standard savings account. Pay close attention to minimums and fine print.
- Cut Unnecessary Expenses - Stanley cups LOL, expensive concert tickets, impulse purchases, coffee outings, going out to eat, you get the picture.
- Lower Necessary Expenses - Plan outings to be gas efficient, cut down utility bills by lowering/raising thermostat, keeping doors closed, being mindful with lights, water usage, anything that will save a few extra bucks in the places that are just needed.
- Create An Achievable Budget - Total up everything you spent on gas, groceries, eating out, maintenance, and you’ll really see what’s going where.
- Consider A Side Hustle Or Two - I worked no less than two jobs for about 10 years straight and YES it was worth it. A few ideas - a retail store you shop at anyway, dog sitting/dog walking, digital marketing, product selling, MLM, seasonal jobs, babysitting, so many options!
- Ask For Overtime or Promotion - I love working and while I understand that working 80 hours a week isn’t for everyone you can still brainstorm on how to be more efficient. How can you take on a higher role with your career? Any extra responsibility you could take on? How can you contribute more in your industry?
- Find a Roommate - This can go both ways. Do your current quarters have room for a roommate? Are you able to move in with someone else and pay them an affordable rent rather than paying more to live alone?
- Be Creative, Think Outside the Box - Any extra home decor sitting around that you don’t like or use anymore? Sell it on facebook marketplace! Have clothes you don’t like/wear anymore? Sell on poshmark! There are so many avenues.

Welcome back to the WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN HOW Series - Part 2

-My experience and expertise is in new construction, first time buyers, move up buyers/sellers, estates, and investors. I’m always up to the challenge to learn something new too!

-Currently my next goal is to acquire a second rental. I believe that you should invest in what you know, believe in, what can give you the best return, what can serve multiple purposes, offers a back up plan and I personally believe Real Estate checks all these boxes. I think it’s the best generational wealth building tool! Plus, you can live in them unlike other common ways of investing.

-The things I strive for most in my business are: exceeding expectations through a sophisticated yet effortless experience. My background prior to Real Estate was in Retail with most in high end boutiques, offering experience with a wide range of clientele and I enjoy bringing that level of service into the industry of Real Estate.

-My biggest advice for home buyers and sellers is to try to take emotion out of it when you can. I think this can result in getting better deals and keeps a cool and calm transaction.

-My biggest advice for other agents is to always remember that we are the expert which entails coaching and advising our clients, not just opening doors. Actively find your client the home they’re looking for, educate them on the industry and coach them so they can make the best educated decision that results in what benefits them and their families the most.
