We understand that many of you have created incredible literary pieces since 2020, and we don't want you to miss the opportunity to be recognized. We appreciate your passion and dedication to your craft.

The categories for submission are as follows:
📚 Written by a Muslim woman
📚 Published between 2020 and 2021 (including hybrid and self-published books)
📚 Written in the English language
📚 Available in print format

Prompt: How do you endure during hardships and difficulties?

'With the late realization that each challenge, hardship, or difficulty is a part of this worldly life, there is no escaping it and its purpose is to train my nafs, saleem my qalb, heal my wounds, shorten my distance to Allah and His Rasul SAW its endurance is much easier. Algamdullilah
If I were not tested, I wonder if I would try to please Allah daily today.

With that said. Man, oh man, some hardships can eat you alive. Sometimes it feels like I'm walking against a strong current with chains around my ankles. SubghaanAllah.

Until I surrender with tears in my eyes and peace in my heart. And that's all I should have done in the first place. Surrender.

I try to surrender a whole lot earlier before tiring myself against the current. I try to surrender the illusion of control, the hurt takes time. Insha'Allah.'

If you're a writer who's looking for a supportive community of fellow Muslim women writers where you can have your work critiqued and join a bi-monthly online workshop, then this opportunity is for you! 🤗

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be facing difficult circumstances. We understand that writing can be a form of healing, and we want to offer this space to those who may not otherwise have the means to access it. 💕

There a FOUR spots available for ONE YEAR and applicants will be chosen based on an interview after applying.

The application form closes on Friday April 28th at 12pm ET. Winners will not be announced and applicants will be kept anonymous.
