Welcome to the spring semester of the Intelligencer!

Volume 18 is a new approach to our classic treatment of foreign policy and international relations. We’re taking a “mythbusting” approach to many claims about national security. There are many alarmist concerns floating around in the media. How many of these are myths? Or else, to what degree are they very real threats to the United States?

This week our analysts evaluate US submarine strength, Russian military power, and the dangers of the Internet of Things. We've also reprinted an interview with Dr. Chodakiewicz about Russia's strategic designs.
