A new week means new opportunities, early mornings, and another chance to get better.
The horses don’t know what day it is—they just know the work that gets put in every day. That’s what makes the difference. Consistency, patience, and showing up when no one is watching.
We’re looking forward to another week of training, learning, and helping these horses reach their full potential. Grateful for the horses, the clients, and the opportunity to do what we love.

Summer is here—early mornings, long hot days, and the steady rhythm of horses in work as futurity season draws closer. Every ride is building toward something greater, and each day we can see them getting stronger, sharper, and more prepared.
We’re thankful for the process, the progress, and the promise of what’s ahead. Futurity time is on the horizon.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
At Cox Performance Horses, we are grateful for the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who served this country so faithfully. Because of them, we have the privilege to live freely, pursue our passions, and enjoy the way of life we love.
This Memorial Day, we pause to reflect, remember, and give thanks. 🇺🇸

💥It’s our Fearless Trainer’s Birthday!💥
From a young age, Heath had a deep passion for horses and the cowboy way of life. He spent countless hours in the branding pen and was being dropped off on the backside long before most kids his age. Growing up, he watched many great horsemen and carried those lessons with him every step of the way.
He’s ridden colts through the snowbanks of Montana and across the Sandhills of Nebraska, but through it all, his passion for the horse has never changed. Neither has the goal — to make good horses.
Today, we celebrate the horseman he has become and the one he will continue to be for years to come.

Another great weekend spent at the SRCHA Wild Rag! We enjoyed a few days schooling our talented 3-year-olds, gaining valuable experience and making progress with each ride.
We’re proud to bring home a 2nd place finish aboard BR Playin In Vegas! Grateful for the opportunity to compete, learn, and continue building these horses for the future.
