Epilepsy Awareness Dance Video

Share

For our friends in the epilepsy community, we hope our project will provide awareness and reduce fear and misunderstanding

This is a one-shot dance video designed to raise awareness for epilepsy. We believe that people deserve empathy, so we’re doing our part by creating a dance film that will share the story of Mabel Ebner, who suffered from epileptic seizures for 20 years. We’ll be using the same brain scanner (EEG) specialists use to diagnose the condition, but wired to our dancer to create the music track dynamically. We'll be spreading Stop, Breathe, Move during National Epilepsy Month in November.

Iteration 1 behind the scenes photos. We did this as a test back in May to see what we could do before we had decided to use the story of Mabel. Beautiful video, dance and music, just needed some more direction to make it more meaningful.

Second Iteration 07/19/2016

Photos of our second iteration we made in June. It's the first version we made basing it on the story of Mabel. This was made just using the gear we have, which you can see the design process in the behind the scenes pictures as well.
