For the next few Wellness Wednesdays, we're diving deeper into the values that make up Lodging Dynamics. This week: Heart.

At Lodging Dynamics, we lead with heart. What does that mean? To us, leading with heart means building relationships with owners and team members who share our core values, creating a distinct culture of care that elevates our guests and the communities we serve.

When people feel cared for, they show up differently. They serve with more warmth. They notice more. They go further for a guest, a coworker, a community. Leading with heart is what elevates an ordinary stay into a memorable one, and an ordinary workplace into one our Lodging Dynamics community is proud to be part of.

To our Lodging Dynamics community: give a shoutout to a team member you've seen demonstrate heart in the comments.๐Ÿค

Our very own Jamie Caraher has been named a 2026 CEO of the Year by Utah Business!

Some of Utah's top business leaders were honored at their recent annual luncheon, and we couldn't be prouder to see Jamie recognized among them. This award is such a well deserved reflection of the leadership and vision Jamie brings to our team every day.

Congratulations again, Jamie! We couldn't be more proud. ๐ŸŽ‰

For the past six years, Jamie Caraher has proudly served as President and CEO of Lodging Dynamics, but her journey into hospitality began from a very different place.

Featured on the No Vacancy News podcast with Glenn Haussman and Dr. Producer Suzanne Bagnera, Jamie talks about growing up in a family of eight, where campgrounds replaced hotel stays because that's what her family could afford. Today she finds herself on the other side of the industry, having recently been named a 2026 CEO of the Year by Utah Business. But that success didn't come without challenges.

In the episode, Jamie shares the lessons she learned along the way and the experiences that shaped her leadership, the philosophy she uses to build trust with owners, and the work she's doing at Lodging Dynamics to help more women build meaningful careers in hospitality.

The full podcast is now live. Tune in now to learn more about Jamie's journey ๐ŸŽง https://novacancynews.com/she-runs-a-hotel-management-company-she-grew-up-unable-to-stay-in-one/

Cinder + Salt is getting some well deserved recognition and we couldn't be more excited to share it ๐ŸŽ‰

Fabulous Washington just featured Cinder + Salt, located at The Charter Hotel in Downtown Seattle, highlighting the open flame wood fired grill, the serene sage green ambiance, and Executive Chef Johnnie Williams' nearly 20 years of culinary experience.

The article gives a shoutout to standout dishes like the Shellfish Tower, the elevated take on a classic wedge salad, and the decadent 16 oz. ribeye, along with the seasonally rotating menu that makes Cinder + Salt a must visit spot near Pike Place Market.

Huge congrats to the entire Cinder + Salt team for the recognition!

At The Wilde Resort & Spa, one of our newest additions to the team just made the Pet Wall of Fame๐Ÿพ Please help us welcome Gotti to the board!

This wall started small, but it's grown into something the whole team looks forward to. It's a simple idea: a spot where our associates can show off the pets who keep them company at home. But walk by it on any given day and you'll see what it really is, a reminder that the people behind great hospitality bring their whole selves to work, including the four-legged ones waiting for them at the end of a shift.

That's what "Hoteliers at Heart" looks like day to day. It's not just a tagline. It's a Culture Committee that makes room for joy in small, genuine ways, and a team that's excited to add one more photo to the board.

If you're part of The Wilde family and haven't added your pet yet, it's easy: find the QR code inside the display case, scan it, and fill out the short form. The Culture Committee handles the rest.

To every property in our portfolio building moments like this one: this is exactly the kind of culture we're proud to support.๐Ÿถ

Some hotels are designed to blend in. Avatar was designed to be remembered. ๐Ÿ’›

The Avatar Hotel Santa Clara, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, sits in the heart of Silicon Valley, just over a mile from Levi's Stadium and minutes from Google, Intel, and Adobe. It is a property with real personality, and every corner of it tells a story.
The design leans into a bold, mid-century spirit. Original artwork runs throughout, from a four-story mural on the building's exterior to a large-scale collage in the lobby, with prints carried into every guest room. The pool deck stretches out as the centerpiece of the property, lined with colorful cabanas and made for California's 300-plus days of sunshine. Guests can gather over wood-fired plates at Goldie's Diner, grab a coffee at the onsite Starbucks, or keep their routine going in a fitness space built for life on the road.
What makes a property like this thrive is not the design alone. It is the people who bring it to life every day. Behind the murals and the poolside cabanas is a team that leads with heart, anticipates what guests need, and treats every stay as a chance to create something memorable. That is where character becomes hospitality.
Whether you are in town for a game, a conference, or a Silicon Valley meeting that runs long, Avatar is ready to welcome you.
Hoteliers at Heart, in every market we serve.

At AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach, the World Cup energy has been impossible to miss. Our team celebrated right alongside our Brazilian guests, sharing in the excitement of a moment the whole world watched together. It is one of the great gifts of hospitality, getting to be part of the joy people carry with them when they travel.

That same spirit carried indoors. At our monthly team luncheon, we leaned into a red, white, and blue theme in honor of America's 250th. A "Spin the Wheel" game brought plenty of laughs, and our birthday celebrants walked away with a little something to mark the occasion.

We also took a moment to recognize two people who make this culture what it is. Congratulations to Simon in Food & Beverage and Anithra at the Front Desk, both recently named Employee of the Month. Well deserved on every count.

Great moments, good people, and a whole lot of positive energy. That is what a culture of care feels like from the inside.

Recently, the team at Residence Inn at Anaheim Resort and Convention Center gathered for our monthly luncheon, and it was a good reminder of what makes this work feel like more than work. We celebrated June birthdays and anniversaries over a pasta lunch, the kind of unhurried meal that gives people a chance to actually connect. A few team members also earned "Spot On" awards, a small but meaningful way to say we see you and we appreciate you.

With the World Cup bringing the world together, a group gathered to cheer on Mexico, sharing in the excitement and a little friendly team pride. It was one of those afternoons where the room simply felt good to be in. The best cultures are built in the ordinary moments, not just the big ones.

A team that celebrates together, that takes time to recognize one another, is a team that shows up fully for guests every single day. ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŽŠ

Something sweet is happening on our San Diego campus. ๐Ÿญ

The first-ever Candy Land Cafรฉ has opened at Bayside Kitchen + Bar, a Hasbro and Bucket Listers collaboration that transforms the space into a full-scale, candy-coated world. Guests step into King Kandy's Castle, wander Jolly's Gumdrop Mountains, decorate cookies, and work through a Sweet Adventure Checklist over a ninety-minute seating.

Bringing an activation like this to life takes real coordination. Our team partnered closely on operations, service flow, and guest experience so that every family walking through the door gets the version of this they imagined.

That is what we mean when we talk about bringing brands to life. We look for the moments that connect people to a place, and then we build the operation that makes those moments feel effortless.

Open Wednesday through Sunday through October 4. If you are in San Diego this summer, come play.

The best teams don't just work well together, they actually enjoy being together.

The associates from SpringHill Suites at the Anaheim Resort / Convention Center swapped their name tags for ballpark seats and headed out to catch the Angels take on the Athletics. The night's theme? Christmas in June. Naturally, our team went all in.

It turns out a shared love of Christmas is a surprisingly strong bond. There was plenty of laughter, a little friendly competition on the field, and the kind of easy connection that only happens when people genuinely like the folks they work alongside.

These are the moments that make a culture real. A team that shows up for each other after hours is the same team that shows up for guests every day, and that connection is felt in every corner of the hotel.

Here's to the SpringHill Suites Anaheim crew. Merry June, and go team! ๐ŸŽŠ
