It's marketing taxonomy rebuild season...again.
If your team has rebuilt the taxonomy more than once in the last three years, the issue probably isn’t that you picked the wrong categories. It’s that the structure was rigid where it needed to flex — and loose where it needed to lock down.
The taxonomies that survive at scale share a few traits:
→ Flexible at the leaf, locked at the trunk
→ A single source of truth that every tool actually pulls from
→ Rules enforced at the point of data creation, not at the point of reporting
The real test is eighteen months out. Can you picture your taxonomy holding up when the team has turned over, new channels have launched, and someone in a new market is adding a value at 11pm?
If not, the next rebuild is already on the calendar: https://bit.ly/4dP1msd

Campaign launches shouldn't start with three days of data cleanup. For most marketing teams, they still do. They're typically full of taxonomy errors, inconsistent naming conventions, and metadata that needs fixing before anything can move.
Our new video follows Maya through a real launch day. Media plan in, validated campaign structure out, clean data pushed across every platform. 20 minutes instead of three days
What would your team do with that time back?

Bad campaign data doesn't become good data once a retail media network touches it. If it's inconsistent leaving your systems, no partner report will ever match your dashboard.
The brands pulling ahead aren't running a better stack. They stopped treating metadata as something to clean up after launch.

If we had a Knickle for every time we heard this pain point... 🏀

You can run a quarterly taxonomy training, but people will still skip a field, get the order wrong, or guess on a brand code.
The fix isn’t better memory. It’s better placement of the check.
The Claravine Chrome Extension replaces:
→ That old crusty spreadsheet that no one checks
→ The recurring Slack reminders from marketing ops
→ The quarterly taxonomy audit that finds errors weeks after launch
→ The downstream attribution reconciliation when names don’t match
Governance stops being a document people consult. It serves as a check that runs during data entry.

Your attribution data shows paid social drove 32% of pipeline last quarter.
The CFO asks how and you open the source data. And three things hit at once: campaign naming changed mid-quarter, two regions used different UTM patterns, and one team renamed “Paid_Social” to “Social_Paid” in March.
The number you reported is...at best...an educated guess.
You’ve changed attribution platforms, hired a new analyst, built a third dashboard on top of the other two, yet the reports still don’t add up.
Attribution doesn’t fail at the platform layer. It fails upstream, in the messy moment a campaign gets named, tagged, and pushed live.
Here’s where the fix actually lives: https://bit.ly/4vd7odj

Claravine is officially a LinkedIn integration partner.
Inbound and outbound sync are both live, which means LinkedIn Campaign Manager data flows into Claravine, gets standardized against your taxonomy, and lands in your analytics stack the way you actually need to read it.
For B2B marketers, this is the difference between "we ran a LinkedIn campaign" and "here is exactly what that campaign did, by audience, by region, against our pipeline." Same data. Very different reporting.
If LinkedIn is a meaningful line item in your media plan, your metadata should be treated like it.

If your mobile links aren't structured consistently, your attribution is already wrong before a user ever clicks.
That's the problem Claravine and Kochava sat down to unpack in our recent webinar session. Learn why mobile linking keeps breaking down, what bad link data actually costs your team, and how standardizing at the source fixes the problem before it hits your MMP.

What did Claravine customers ask us to build in the first half of 2026?
A lot, as it turns out. New integrations. AI-powered features. Capabilities that make governance, enrichment, and activation feel less like firefighting and more like a system.
We're showing all of it on Thursday, June 11 at 1 PM ET.
