His name feels perfect for this little boy. Cy means “sun,” “throne,” or “one who bestows care.”

After Georgia was born, I lived with pelvic pain every day for four years. Then, just a few months before becoming pregnant with Cy, that pain was healed. Through special scar tissue treatments, countless prayers, blessings, and miracles, I truly believe I was being prepared for him to join our family.

During some of my hardest days, I prayed for angelic help and this song would often come into my mind:

“O-o-h child, things are gonna get easier… O-o-h child, things’ll get brighter… Someday we’ll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun.”

Later, I learned that this was the same song my grandpa used to sing to my mom during difficult times. It felt like a reminder to keep going and have hope that maybe one day I could not only be out of pain but carry another little babe.

Jared and I both loved the name Cy, and when I looked up its meaning and discovered it meant “sun,” I immediately thought of that song that carried me through so many hard days—and of my angel grandpa who somehow always seemed to know exactly what I needed.

So so grateful that our handsome little sunshine boy is finally here. 🥹✨🌼☀️

2025 was filled with unexpected but fulfilled promises from the Lord. We don't have the words to express how gratitude has healed our hearts this year. We experienced growth with another cross country move, and new adjustments that come with it but learned to keep trusting, hoping and waiting on the Lord. We look forward to another beautiful year with all our loved ones!

feeling soo so grateful- another sweet babe will be joining our family early June 🤎 so many miracles leading up to this and our hearts are full this season!
