Lead poisoning is one of the most common pediatric health problems, yet it’s entirely preventable. It’s especially dangerous for children under 6, whose developing brains and bodies are most vulnerable to its toxic effects. Lead is a disease, but one we can stop with the right resources and commitment.

The RI Housing LeadSafe Program is an incredible initiative that’s already helped over 70 families this year live healthier lives. It was deeply motivating to see so many public servants, city officials, community leaders, and advocates come together to support this program. Their dedication to protecting vulnerable communities is what makes this work possible.🏡
