INFANT SPINAL TAPS… an easier way??!! 👶🧪
Check out this SMöLTAP demo & review with Tala Talks NICU 🎥👇
https://youtu.be/fhrrMX2Mvfs
Watch the video to hear Dr. Tala’s review and advice on the SMöLTAP device and how it’s designed to support infant spinal tap procedures.
Dr. Tala is a board-certified neonatologist with 18 years of experience working in busy Level III and IV NICUs. Throughout her career, she has received multiple teaching awards for her dedication to education and clinical excellence, and she is excited to integrate this device into practice.
The device focuses on improving positioning and stabilization by helping maintain proper spinal alignment, supporting a consistent flexed position, and minimizing movement during the procedure. This added stability can make it easier for providers to identify landmarks and perform the lumbar puncture more efficiently.
An interesting innovation aimed at supporting both clinicians and their smallest patients 💙
