Happy Autism Awareness day! 💙🧩
Many may not know but Jayce was recently diagnosed with Autism. We were prepared for this diagnosis for a while now but news like this hits differently when it’s confirmed instead of speculations. Seeing the world through his perspective is truly beautiful and different. Biggest thing I’ve learned as a parent is that you have to be very patient, kind and willing to see things the way he does in order to understand. I’ve also learned that Autism doesn’t have a “look.” Never be quick to judge because you can see someone who looks completely normal physically not knowing at all what they struggle with. Also I’m fully aware the color for Austin is blue but Jayce insisted on wear red. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Jayce’s last day of school was last Thursday. Between him and Kaycie, it’s been crazy nonstop running around and that loud laughing/screaming ALLLLLLLL DAY. IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW. 😂

What are some daily activities you do to keep your toddlers busy and get them real tired? Asking for a friend. 🤣

I received Jayce’s report card and if you guys remember he has been in speech therapy for the past 2 and a half years. He’s been exceeding all the milestones and expectations so well that he’s surpassing kindergarten and first grade level expectations in certain areas. Sometimes we tend to worry so much that we forget to notice the progress. I’m so proud of my boy! It’s hard work but with love and patience he’ll get very far.

Summer is one of my favorite times of the year! ☀️ We love doing outdoor adventures with the kiddos 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and we especially enjoy being on school break I love picking out outfits from the kidswear at primark to dress my kids in style for the summer. 🏝🩳🩱🌊🧺🕶🌞 They always have the best deals and affordable looks for everyone in the family. SNOW WHITE 🤍

Introducing my new mom car. 🚘 Yes it’s 100% a downgrade and definitely not something you’d think I’d be driving but I absolutely love it. I’m use to big cars. My last car was a 2020 Honda Pilot 🚙. I thought that because I was having another kid 🤰🏾at the time I would need a bigger car but don’t be fooled. I just went into a bigger car payment and a huge car that I honestly didn’t like nor need. It did it’s job and I had be ok with it because it was getting my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 from point a to point b and back and for that I’m truly thankful. But NOW, I absolutely love my new car and the gas ⛽️ price to fill it up.

Advice that no one asked me for, if you were like me pregnant and with a toddler already, wait till after you have a baby to see if you really NEED a bigger car. Sometimes what you already have is just enough. Don’t let the pregnancy emotions take over like I did.

FUN FACT, Jayce named my car Snow White the moment he saw the car. 🤣🤍

Happy Mother’s Day to my momma! I literally owe this woman everything for shaping me into the woman that I am today. Thank you for teaching me the true definition of not just a mom but a phenomenal mom. I love you so much. My bestest friend. My mother.
