Strawbaby 🍓

I wanted to tuft a whole stained glass collection but couldn’t decide on what would fit in the last spot on my frame. A strawberry was on my list to tuft and I felt like it just fit so perfectly on the frame! My husband and mom were like, “why a strawberry?? That’s so random.” But I knew you spring bbs would eat that s**t up! Haha and it’s definitely been my most commented on tufted piece! She’s not for sale yet, and don’t worry I’ll be tufting a few more because they are so damn cute and I’ve had a few of you want to call dibs already.

I’m curious, how would you style this piece? Would you want it as an actual rug, a table rug, wall hanging, or coaster? All would be so cute but I think each use would need a different size. Thoughts?

Not sure why I didn’t start with a beanie for my first crochet project, but we’re in it now folks. I’m on a roll with the magic circles though! Hopefully I can finish by baby girl’s bday in early February 🤞🏼 Stay tuned!

The original wall hanging design was made with brown cord. When I saw the order placed for white, y’all I couldn’t be more excited! I mean look at her!! She’s gorgeous! If you didn’t know, the wall hangings in my shop are made to order and now you can choose your own custom color. Behold, The Fluffy Checkered Wall Hanging!!!

I haven’t been this excited to make/share a wall hanging with you guys in a long time! This was definitely one of those trust the process pieces! It wasn’t turning out how I pictured, then halfway through I saw it was turning out BETTER than I pictured!

This floofy girl is 23in long and 10in wide. Not too small, not too big, and took me 4.5 hours to make. She was made with super soft cotton string 🤤

This definitely won’t be the the last fluffy wall hanging I make. I have so many different ideas, and some may or may not include vintage frames 👀

SHOP UPDATE!!!

This cutie along with most of my past creations are now available as made to order items in my shop!!! A wall hanging is the perfect Christmas gift if you ask me. I will probably be able to get the first few orders shipped to be delivered in time for Christmas! Fall is so close I can taste it!

Throwing it back to this cutie fall collection I made a couple years back! Not sure if I’ll be able to pull off a whole collection this year, but I do have fall colored rope that is BEGGING to get made into some wall hangings!

I’ve been filing my time with fulfilling wristlet orders, working on my crochet blanket, and making some fun fall merch for my fellow fiber artists.

What are some things you guys have been creating/working on recently?

Since I’ve started to learn how to crochet, my fire for creating fiber art has been ignited again! I’ve had so many ideas and things I want to implement into my shop that I wish I could stop everything and make it all happen at once! But I’m trying to give myself grace and start with one project at a time. The first being creating more tutorials! I love learning new crafts and it’s made me inspired and excited to teach the craft I know and love to others! Keep an eye out for a new macrame wall hanging pattern to hit the shop along with new blog posts with tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way.
