šØ HELP SEND 4 MIGHTY YOUNG TECHS TO SOUTH KOREA š°š·āļø
This June, for the first time ā but not the last ā four Mighty Young Techs from the City of Poughkeepsie will travel to South Korea for an immersive educational experience in culture, language, technology, and global learning.
So far, TWO Mighty Young Techs have secured their roundtrip flight tickets.
TWO more still urgently need support for airfare and accommodations so the group can travel together on the same itinerary.
These Mighty Young Techs are already accomplishing extraordinary things:
š Poughkeepsieās FIRST Baton Twirling Team
š„ 1st Place New York State Champions (2024)
š„ Poughkeepsieās FIRST youth drumline established in 2025
š One MYT recently inducted into the National Junior Honor Society
ā Two Honors Students
ā One recognized as a āSerino Superstarā by the Dutchess County Executive
For over 10 years, Mighty Young Techs has worked to provide underserved youth with opportunities beyond the limits often placed around them.
These children have worked hard, stayed committed, and continue proving what is possible when talent is matched with mentorship, structure, exposure, and opportunity.
Any additional funds raised beyond flights will help cover:
šØ Accommodations
š Meals & daily expenses
šļø Educational and cultural experiences
ā³ Funds are needed as soon as possible as flight prices and accommodations continue to increase.
No donation is too small. Even sharing this post could help change a childās future.
Help show these Mighty Young Techs that their dreams are not limited by their zip code. šāØ

Urgent: Help Us Take the Mighty Young Techs on Their End-of-Year Trip!
Weāre the Mighty Young Techs ā a small but mighty program in Poughkeepsie where Black and Brown kids, ages 4ā12, learn to code, build, and lead through creativity and teamwork.
These kids have already been through so much. Despite it all, they showed up, worked hard, and even won the New York State Baton Twirling Championship.
Last year, for the first time, we couldnāt take them on their end-of-year trip. It broke our hearts ā and theirs.
This year, weāre determined not to let that happen again.
The trip may not be as ambitious as we once dreamed, but itās still a chance for them to celebrate their hard work, their spirit, and their community.
Weāve had to lower our fundraising goal from $7,500 to $3,000 ā and the trip is just weeks away, on June 25, 2025.
To those who have already donated or shared our post, THANK YOU.
Your kindness is making a difference. Every share, every dollar, every kind word shows these kids that they are not alone and that their community cares.
Weāre still short of our goal ā and every single donation, no matter the size, will help greatly.

Please, help us give them this trip. These kids have already overcome heartbreak. Letās not let them miss out again.
Thank you for believing in them ā and in us.

Help the Mighty Young Techs Take Their Victory Trip!
Weāre the Mighty Young Techs ā a youth-powered program in Poughkeepsie where Black and Brown kids ages 4ā12 learn electronics, coding, invention, and leadership. Through creativity and teamwork, these children are building their future.
Last year, they did something incredible:
They won the New York State Baton Twirling Championship!
But despite their victory, we couldnāt afford to give them their end-of-year trip. Last year, for the first time ever, our kids missed out on the trip that celebrates their hard work, honors their excellence, and creates memories with their families.
Weāre determined not to let that happen again.
Weāre raising $7,500 to cover:
š Transportation
š½ļø Meals
šļø Activities
This isnāt just a trip ā itās a reward for their dedication, a chance to build community, and a moment of joy these kids deserve.
š How You Can Help:
Donate what you can ā even $5 makes a difference!
Share this campaign with 3 friends.
Sponsor a childās meal or ticket ā just $10 or $25 can make a huge impact.
