The post-holiday season always bring a natural pause, and January tends to be quieter around here.

Fir Tree Fibers is still open, and everything in the shop is available as usual. I’m continuing to make pieces as orders come in.

Thank you for being here 🤍

All current orders have been shipped, and I just wanted to pause and say... thank you.

Whether your order was a gift or something just for you, I hope it’s received with a smile and enjoyed for a long time to come. Knowing that something I made by hand is heading into your homes means more than I can easily put into words.

Thank you for the support, encouragement, kind messages, and orders since I opened Fir Tree Fibers. It’s been such a meaningful season of creating, and I’m so grateful for this little community that’s forming around it.

Wishing you a cozy holiday season and a Happy New Year! 🤍

New in the shop: The Towel Ring

Handmade, simple, and designed for real life. A practical solution for hand towels that tend to wander, finished with a clean, cozy look that works in everyday spaces.

Perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, or anywhere a hand towel never seems to stay put. Available in a range of neutral, easy-to-style colors.

Sneak peek of a new home decor piece I’ve been working on. 👀

One of those small details that quietly makes everyday spaces feel more put together, and a simple fix for the hand towel that never stays where it’s meant to.

Would this be something you’d use in your home?

What does “small batch” really mean?

For me, it means I’m not making hundreds of the same thing at once. I’m making pieces one at a time, either in small ready-to-ship batches or made to order, with intention behind every step.

Each piece starts with carefully chosen fiber. I’m picky about how it feels, how it wears, and how it holds up over time. If the texture isn’t right or it doesn’t feel good in your hands, it doesn’t make it into the shop.

From there, every stitch is worked thoughtfully. If something doesn’t look or feel right, I redo it. When a piece is finished, it’s cleaned up, checked over, and finished properly before it ever leaves my hands.

Small batch means your piece wasn’t rushed, outsourced, or made on a machine. It was made by a real person, with care for both the craft and the person who will wear or use it. It was made by me, with you in mind.

That’s what small batch looks like at Fir Tree Fibers. Made with care every step of the way.

Just finished this Hearthside Infinity Scarf in a (gorgeous) rich navy, and it’s ready to head to its new home.

Knowing this one is a gift makes it extra special. Handmade pieces always feel a little different when you know they’re about to become part of someone else’s story. 🤍

I love seeing how different colors change the feel of the Hearthside Infinity Scarf.

These are a few favorites right now. Which one would you reach for?

Just a note for holiday shoppers:

If you’re hoping to have something from Fir Tree Fibers under the tree this year, we’re one week out from the holiday ship-by date. December 17 is the last day for orders to be mailed for expected delivery before Christmas.

Since everything in my shop is handmade, please allow a little time for me to create your piece before shipping. Thank you for thinking of small makers this season. 🤍
