My super talented and good people over at Dead Animal Assembly Plant just had their album released on Armalyte Industries! I had the honor to mix the album Primal Recording Studio, which was an absolute blast! So much creativity spewing out of them. Literally.

Alllso, as a bonus track on the album, there's the God's Gonna Cut You Down remix that Zach Wager and I produce. I think it came out pretty cool considering we did quite a bit of genre-bending! Vocals by my good friend and old bandmate, Outer Stace from Photona!

Hello friends! I have some pretty exciting news! The incredibly creative, surrealist artists Mothmeister is releasing their 2nd art book via Etsy (https://etsy.me/2OkXibo). I have been working late nights with Zach Wager from Dead Animal Assembly Plant to mix and master the soundtrack that goes along with the dark and beautiful world that Mothmeister has pieced together. If you can, please show your support for all the artists who have contributed by picking up a copy!
I was asked to join this project as a mix and mastering engineer, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Working with Zach to make sure the soundscapes fit the visuals was an awesome experience. There were lots of musicians who contributed to the project, so hearing them add their creative piece to each track was very inspiring and humbling. Bravo to everyone and their hard work!

Fernando Ruiz Jr and Zach Wager will be mixing their collaborative redo of our “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” cover featuring guest vocals by Outer Stace (Photona/ Time Bitch.)

Had a great session recording some guitars! 🎸 Chased some tone using a Mesa, Marshall, and Soldano cabs. Gotta say, the Mesa cab sound amazing. Hard to beat. The Marshall sounded great in a different way and ended up using it on a few tracks. Overall, sounded great!
