Last week I decided to start a photo project, where I would take a picture each day of something ordinary in an interesting angle- some may be unrecognizable and some may be lovely. I’m really going to enjoy this project which may get me back into photography. Along with the photo I’ll be reflecting upon it. This was my grandmother’s clock. It hung above her TV next to a Renoir print (Bal du moulin de la Galette 1876) when I look at it it reminds me of many weekends staying in her small home with the pink bedroom and the screened sun porch near Mount Hood.

Dream Big! If that’s what you want. If not, do what you like. 😀 The point is to dream the life you want and go for it.
I made this collage, a few years ago when I was first learning. I really liked it, but my gluing was terrible and there were tons of creases, so I threw it in a vintage briefcase and forgot about it. After much fussing, and MANY photos taken, I think I finally have it ready to make in 5x7 prints. Don’t give up!

Well, “Bits of Joy” went to its new home yesterday. I’ll miss seeing it, but delighted that it went to the home of someone I’ve known since they were a wee tot. Once it started coming together it was so enjoyable to paint. I hope it brings them happiness and also good luck. It was the last piece I posted before getting asked to do my show at Troutdale Art Center It really warms my heart to know when someone loves something I made with my hands & from my weird mind 🤣💙

Prints now available at Made in Milwaukie ! I’m excited to be on their roster now. Such a fun store with TONS of locally made things. I only have one of each there right now so don’t delay- I will bring more soon though $15 each. Size is 8.5”x11 but can be cut down to fit in an 8x10 frame if needed. New One-of-a-Kind original collage “Keep Moving” now at Troutdale Art Center 9.5”x3.5” Framed $40

A page out of my mini art journal. It’s been a busy few weeks and a little hectic, so I haven’t been able to get in my studio as much as I’d like. I was able make a tiny collage out of scraps, and I immediately felt better. Make what you love to do a priority. We only get one chance here. I hope to take my own advice on this 🤣😜 Have a creative weekend folks! I’m rooting for you!

This is “A is For Ability” You have more of it than you realize. I made it with water color, ink, paper, and did an image transfer to make the eye transparent. It’s in a nice black 5x7” frame and will be available today at Troutdale Art Center for $40. It’s an original NOT a print. I hope it makes someone very happy. 💜💜💜

Last weekend of my show at Troutdale Art Center It’s been an honor and a delight to be one of their featured artists Feb- March. They’ll be open today and all weekend until 5pm, if you’re out and about.
