Man looks up to admire an eagle, seconds later he’s full sprinting to tackle it.

Coming back from a walk, he let his little dog sniff around the front yard while he grabbed the mail. Out of habit he glanced at the sky, pointing out a circling eagle. In the blink of an eye the bird folded its wings, dove, and actually managed to grab the dog and lift him off the ground.

Instinct kicked in. He exploded off the porch, shouting and waving until he got close enough to grab his dog back from the eagle’s talons. The bird flared its wings and took off, while he bolted inside clutching his shaking pup.

Later, they watched the Ring footage together. “I knew eagles were fast,” he said, “I didnt expect to tackle one.”

Such a sad story: Yesterday, November 15, 2025, I found a senior dog tied to a pole—cold, silent, and still believing someone would return for him. I stayed with him for nearly two hours, watching him lift his head and gently wag his tail at every passerby. His hope was heartbreaking… and when no one came back, I knew I couldn’t leave him behind. He leaned into my hand the moment I touched him, as if begging for just a little kindness.

At the vet, reality hit harder than I expected. No microchip, no name, no history—just an old soul with high blood sugar, kidney troubles, and liver complications. I explained everything to the vet, including my fear that I couldn’t afford the treatment he desperately needed. The vet listened, then said words I’ll carry forever: “You’re trying to save a life someone else threw away. Senior dogs deserve love, not abandonment. We’ll help him together. Don’t worry about the cost.” He only asked that his name remain private, so others wouldn’t overwhelm him.

Today, that forgotten dog finally has what he always deserved—a warm bed, soft hands, good food, and a family that won’t walk away. His future may be uncertain, but his days will be full of love. All I ask is that you keep him in your prayers. As for his name, I want something that honors his journey. I’m torn between Hope, Lucky, and Shadow… which one do you feel fits his story the most...💔🐾🙏 credit
