What a brand activation actually looks like on-site: a live station, a line of guests, and something they walk away with that isn’t a favor they’ll never use.

This set up’s from a PDXperts event back this summer, hot foiling luggage tags and keychains live for a room full of Portland event industry pros. It’s the same setup that works for an association event, a retail brand activation, or corporate client gifting, even weddings and personal events. The audience flexes, the impact doesn’t.

Also, this was genuinely one of the best nights of the summer. Got to meet so many incredible vendors in the Portland event world, and there’s nothing like watching a room full of people who plan events for a living get excited about a detail at their own event.

Mirror welcome signs are one of my favorite pieces to design, and there’s a real reason they work so well.

Guests actually stop to read it, mirrors catch light beautifully, they create great selfie moments, and they fit almost any aesthetic ✨
