Peas please! Yes! You can plant some peas for Fall NOW. This always feels wrong somehow because I associate peas so strongly with Spring, but imagine having that same sweet, freshness when other things are beginning to feel a bit dry and contracted. Peas are cool weather plants so they will crop once the days cool off. The trick is keeping them well watered until then. It’s a bit of a chore but well worth it, I promise!
An added bonus—the pea pods are gorgeous purple but the flowers from Sugar Magnolia are also PINK and purple and sweet and delicious. Sprinkle some on your grain salads…WOWEE!!

Bachelor buttons: the original dating app! Just pin one to your lapel and let everyone know you’re single and ready to… water plants together?
Available in the Edible Flowers themed seed kit this is one of the best edible flowers you can grow. Easy and tough, totally floriferous, and going well with both savory and sweet things since it has a mild grassy, cucumber-like flavor. I like to pull off the petals and use them as confetti sprinkles on everything from cakes to rice dishes! 🌸🎊
