All three teams competed with incredible effort, teamwork, and heart—and we’re proud to share that one of our teams brought home a 2nd place finish! 🥈

Portland firefighters remember honorary deputy fire chief with Special Olympics basketball team The Portland Flames were created to honor the memory of Jimmy Fox, a beloved figure with Down Syndrome who inspired inclusion and team spirit.

The Portland Flames held their first basketball practice of 2026, and the energy was unreal! 🙌
We now have 39 Portland Flame athletes, and everyone had a great time getting back on the court.

It’s shaping up to be an incredible season — let’s go Flames! 🔥💪
