As we get closer to Nyx having her foal (maybe tonight ) here is a thread to leave comments on the live feed for 5/28/2025

Just a quick FYI . The cameras in the dark look like the have lights on but is just infrared lights . When the cameras pick each other up with the night vision, it makes it look like a bright light.Nyx does not see this . Her stall is still dark.

If you have been getting a black screen tap on that and click “open in browser”. That should fix it :)

Best times to see Nyx in her stall is around noon , 4:30ish and midnight pst . . Those are her main feeding times. Of course she can come and go from her stall so she may come in just to hang out. Once it gets close to the birth she will be locked in her stall at night, so I can keep an eye on her. After the baby is born, she will also be locked in her stall most of the time for the first week, except when her and the baby go out with me. After that, I think you will see her in her stall a lot more because that is usually where the foal sleeps.

Here are some things you should know . 1)Nyx is due May 30th. 2)This camera has no sound.3) even though you don’t see us around we are always close by. I have cameras on every single stall and an additional camera on Nyx that lets me hear sound and move it everywhere.4) you will see Nyx stomping and itching her legs a lot . This is nothing to be concerned with she has mud scratches that we are currently treating. 5) if you do not see her in her stall she is probably out in her paddock or in the aisle way getting worked on . 6) while we do not anticipate it if there is an emergency during the birth, we will be disconnecting the live feed .
