The OG Woobie +Track but make them shorts.

The original upcycled woobie blanket pant combined a secondhand woobie with a thrifted track pant. The track pant provides the stripe and the pocket. These were near impossible to control for size or length, so I eventually went to what I do now, which is an add a stripe on top of the woobie. But, I had a couple of pairs of thrifted trackies kicking around, and scrap left from other pants to make two pairs of oversized long camo shorts.

One pair with a black and grey stripe, one with a navy and white stripe. The navy one even has a zipper pocket. I would put these at a medium and medium-large. The navy ones are a bit longer.

We're back, baby. It took me a minute to source some vintage camo ripstop. And by vintage, I mean, the fabric is actually vintage. This is 1990s woodland camo surplus. The roll was a "second"!with some print flaws, so was never used. The 50/50 cotton/poly fabric is crisp and sturdy, but surprisingly lightweight.

They say camo is back this season, but personally, I think it never left. It's like an animal print to me - a neutral with endless styling capabilities.

Made up in the Soft Power Pant style, you can pick your size and choose from a variety of stripe options (or no stripe if sporty spice isn't your vibe).

I've been working up the idea of this new quilt jacket shape I'm calling the Amelia. I'm sort of wondering if vintage quilt coats have run their course? But maybe this parachute jacket style will re-invigorate me.

It has paracord elastic and toggles to adjust the neck, cuffs, and hem and heavy duty snaps down the front.

What do you think? Are vintage quilt coats played out, or do they just need to hit the mark on more interesting shapes? Shall I make some of my stock into the Martha?

I'm starting on coats including experimenting with a new style for this winter. If you just can't wait, here are the last remaining from previous seasons, including two special ones from my personal collection that deserve more wear than I give them.

This late 1800s log cabin quilt in wool and silk velvets is lined in a floral cotton. She's been slowly repaired of her moth holes over time by many hand-embroidered leaves, flowers, and hearts.

The last slides are a chore coat crafted from a vintage wool navy blanket lined in 1970s floral-print cotton with antiqued brass snaps.

Market Bags made from vintage Quaker-style lace, hand-crocheted lace, and handmade filet lace. Some natural, some dyed fun colors. All finished with cotton binding. This is lace is super sturdy. You can load these bags up with whatever your heart desires.

The Zero-Waste Dress can be worn three ways. Tie the side ties front, back, or not. The dress is column with wide Kimono-style sleeves. I include a kick-pleat for ease of movement. The perfect white dress.

Vintage linen with hand embroidery and lace.

Oh, hai. It me. I felt nostalgic for my neighbor's driveway. But seriously, I'm workshopping this idea of adding vintage and antique lace collars (and other lace bits and bobs I have in my scrap pile) to thrifted tee shirts. I'm pretty partial to the hyper-oversized tee right now. Once the lace is applied, I remove the tee shirt material from the back so these all have a see-through aspect. All the better to flash a colored bra, which obviously I'm not doing in these photos.

Here's three iterations. Oversized large white tee with antique hand-crocheted lace collar panel. Oversized black tee with vintage machined net lace blocks at front and back. Mid-sized grey tee with another of the antique collars. I don't do much vintage rework, but I'm really liking this.

Clean and simple. Oversized t-shirt is made from vintage linens.

Last two (for now). Big tees - one from a dense, crispy vintage white linen tablecloth with subtle pulled-thread embroidery. The ultimate wardrobe staple, but in this case, one-of-a-kind. The second is made from a vintage embroidered sheer linen panel originally intended for a Guayabera. This is a bit longer with an added cuff detail.
