Back, sharing a few pictures from our second stop … Florence! 🇮🇹
This was a first time in Italy for all of us and it’s safe to say we fell in love! Florence is magical and if I had to pick probably my favorite stop on the trip! 🤍
And yes it was hot! Like really really hot … 20+ degrees hotter than the average temp 🥵! But we still did all the walking, climbed the dome, ate outside … we just ducked into AC whenever we could 🤣

It’s been quiet in our small corner of the internet! We spent the last couple of weeks traveling, focusing on being present with our loved ones!
It feels impossible to pick my favorite pictures from the trip, but here is a few from our first stop … Paris!! 🗼✨

And they’re off to high school!

Met with one of our clients this morning, that we are working to help continue the updates on in their classic Portland home! We started with a bathroom remodel and are onto some phase 2 work including refreshing the kitchen, paint colors, etc.
We love classic Portland homes (we have a few in the works right now!) and we really love repeat clients!!!

These two are 15 today!!!!
I’m asked often how we did it / how we managed raising two. To be honest, the first few years of parenting twins was beyond hard - yes they had a secret language and yes they used it against me! From being pregnant with two, to watching them fight for their life in the NICU, to caring for two babies on the middle of the night (why can’t the nurses come home with you?!), to dealing with two in the horrible three’s at once, there were a lot of challenges.
But when I look past the hard, I can honestly say that it’s a true honor and my greatest gift to be their mom. The challenges brought so much growth, the joys have filled my heart in ways I never imagined, and the simplest moments together are some of the most treasured. From the tiniest of preemies to incredible teenagers, watching them grow into their character and values is rewarding beyond measure. It’s interesting when we reach a point where our language actually fails to capture the depth of the human emotions - love, pride, honor, gift, they all help to shed some context but they don’t fully communicate the feels. Being their Mama is just the absolute BEST!!!
This is a year of huge growth, big changes, and a lot of transitions for our family! There is excitement for what’s ahead, but I’ll be honest there is a lot of mom anxiety too (can we talk about them learning to drive?! 😳). So today, I’m out of the office celebrating these two incredible kids, celebrating the joy of being their mom, and celebrating the gift that is our family of four!!!
