Earlier this week, I announced our move out of Colibri: we’ll be boxing up our pop-up shop on March 30th, at the end of store hours. Colibri has been a beautiful space with incredible staff to launch Ever AFter’s bottle shop as a proof-of-concept. We’re grateful to have had the opportunity to introduce you to some of the brands and products we plan to stock in our own future shop! I believe NA beverages are so much more than treats to pair with meals or quench your thirst - they’re harm reduction, mental health support, sobriety tools, and points of connection.
What does this mean for Ever AFter and the bottle shop?
We’ll be co-hosting more speakers events and tastings through the spring and summer with some of our favorite local businesses. Drew (our designer and webmaster) and I have an online shop for ordering in the works! Ever AFter may take our mobile bar to select community gatherings and private events, but what we’re striving for is our own place to operate out of: our own space to host and build this NA community.
What I’ve heard is that you want MORE events, tastings, products you haven’t tried, and a place to hang out and connect. It’s time to give my full attention to fundraising. I’m more motivated than ever, so please support us by visiting our Crowdfundr campaign (Link in bio!) to learn more about the bigger vision and come stock up before we move out! Everything is 10% off!

BIG RESTOCK, HUGE LOSS, SHORT PAUSE. If you came by the fourth week of January, you might’ve noticed that the shelves at Ever AFter went a little thin for a few more days than usual. Two weeks ago, I had to say goodbye to Levi, my beloved Boston Terrier who I was inseparable from for over 11 years. He was a goofy and lighthearted charmer. His bark sounded like an underwater dog robot saying woof. He loved produce of all kinds: strawberries & blueberries, pears & apples, fennel & cucumbers, but especially citrus! Satsumas, cara caras, blood orange, Meyer lemon, grapefruit… he was such a great taster in the kitchen. He was my best friend, my soul mate, my road trip companion, my emotional support; my family.
I haven’t had a drink during his illness or since losing him. I’m reminded, again, how grateful I am that I can get through my best and worst days without alcohol, but it has been a hard hard time.
While I’ve been working from under a layer of fog and grief, only compounded by the current political moment, I’m going to practice leaning into support and help from my community. I’ll be sharing the keys to this account with some collaborators, who I’ll introduce in the coming days. I’ve been admittedly panicked about slowing down, but I need to trust that Ever AFter’s momentum will keep us moving forward. I’m grateful we’re in this together, thanks for being here.
Please keep visiting the shop, sharing our Crowdfundr campaign and the project, sending me your photos and product reviews. I’ll happily accept all the virtual hugs and I’m sending one back to you.
