DxE’s Zoe Rosenberg’s inspiring talk, “Arrested, Monitored, & Charged: The Criminalization of Animal Rescue”, about her legal case and investigatory experience. She’s being charged with felonies for rescuing chickens from a California factory farm. Why is animal rescue so threatening?!?
She is a student at UC Berkeley and they are lucky to have her. She is facing multiple years in prison for rescuing dying chickens on a factory farm. Public awareness is vital to her fighting those charges and making the most of her case so please like and share. Hosted by .hamer 🥰

THANKSLIVING!!! There were 9 of us so one roast and one plus all the fixin’s AND a .cheese cheese board!! PLUS, Jake made his amazing “Turk’y Soy Curls” and, of course, Chelsea’s amazing mashed potatoes (w butter, sour cream, and roasted garlic) and homemade chickpea and mushroom brown gravy. Of course, pumpkin pie and homemade whip cream and apple crumble with oat milk vanilla ice cream. I forgot to bring out the cranberry sauce! 🙃

Last night’s gala supporting .outlook
exposing cruelty to farmed animals. They are tireless: “undercover investigations, legal advocacy, corporate and food system reform, and disseminate information about the many harms of animal agriculture, empowering everyone to choose vegan.” And, VEGAN Tig Notaro was there!!

A powerful showing at last week’s “Portland: Protest OHSU for Using Live Animals!”Their ob/gyn training uses live pigs to practice surgery and then they’re killed. Had my non-vegan pickleball friends over for a backyard cookout after playing last weekend.
burgers with cheese, mayo, butter for the corn. They made fabulous vegan side salads! Orzo & spinach salad with olives, red bell peppers and vinagarette. And a chickpea, cucumber onion bell pepper with Violife feta and dressing. .pickleball

At Vancouver, Washington’s City Council quarterly community forum being a voice for the animals. We got them to draft resolutions to ban foie gras, fur, and puppy sales and now working on getting them to turn these resolutions into ordinances.
