I know there's crossover from skateboarding to snowboarding so wanted to share the inaugural episode of "Going Off: Snowboard History Podcast" brought to you by my wife and Olympian - Tricia Byrnes - and her long time shred homie and ex-TWS Snowboard Mag editor - Jennifer Sherowski.
Special guest: Todd Richards
The Birth, Glory and Decline of Halfpipe Snowboarding Before it became an icy 22-foot U-shaped monstrosity, the snowboard halfpipe was a hand-shaped, Roman Coliseum-style venue where snowboarders would go to see...

Reading this news about Mark Waters was a rough way to begin the day. We all have stories about our friends and the moments shared, and we want nothing but for the good times to continue. If you're able to contribute to the GoFundMe Fundraising link set up by Mark's family, it's greatly appreciated.

Dayumn...what a great way to kick off the day. No need to watch it all in one sitting, but definitely a 100% need to bookmark this one!
JJ - A Retrospective (2010-2020) A compilation of a decade of Jake Johnson's footage since his standout part in Alien Workshop's "Mind Field."
411 definitely accelerated content availability in the days of VHS tapes (followed by DVDs) but most of all and later brought the world of skateboarding to your television. Learning about other skate scenes was no longer limited to monthly magazine subscriptions or multi-year branded videos. Traveling outside of the European contest circuit to fill the reels of video tapes with tricks became a necessity and I spent a lot of time with and for 411VM and Slap Mag for this part as well as many other 411VM projects.
This part was mainly filmed in Moscow & St. Petersburg, Russia as well as Miami and the S.F. Bay Area. Funny thing to note...I really despise skating in shorts so I find it hard to imagine skating a hubba in shorts ever again.
Moments from my early years in San Francisco circa 1998-99. Looking back, I’m grateful to have had the chance to skate EMB in the configuration I saw in the old FTC Skate Shop & PlanB videos.
Looking back on our mini enjoi trip to Seoul with Nestor, Wieger, Anthony Claravall and Pep Kim. This was one of my favorites clips from the week-long journey.
Would definitely go back there to skate.
Quick hit heelflip dedicated to Neen Williams.
Been watching him on the climb again and it’s been 100% inspirational. From sponsorships with lululemon, Whole Foods and more, Neen’s paving his own path in skateboarding that shows people a deep passion we all truly possess. Stay true to yourself and so long as skateboarding fulfills your life, don’t stop by any means.
