Hi everyone! Please welcome our new Graduate Intern, Madeline! We're so excited to have her on the MAPS team this year!

Madeline Schnipper is the Mentoring and Service Graduate Intern in the Student Community Engagement Center and coordinates the MAPS mentoring program, Portland State of Mind Day of Service and Serve Your City Days. She is passionate about improving educational opportunities for adult learners, which is why she is pursuing her Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy, specializing in Adult Education Training and Development. She received her Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from San Jose State University. Madeline was the Assistant Registrar at a business college in California prior to moving to Portland. She has also worked as a Programming Assistant in residence life and has years of experience mentoring first-generation college students through the application process. Her hobbies include baking, hiking, bouldering, and volunteering at the Humane Society.
