(ASHRAE) is an international organization of 55,000 persons which the exclusive purpose of advancing the arts and sciences of heating, refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation, the allied arts and sciences, and related human factors for the benefit of the public. Since its founding in 1894, ASHRAE has helped shape the growth of the industry to which its members belong and has made many immeasurable contributions to the public good.
