If you’ve ever thought about what life would be like in Portland, OR – save this for later!

Here’s what I always tell my clients that are relocating here:

* Come visit for at least a weekend to get a true feel for neighborhoods & lifestyle (My relocation guide has recs all over the Portland area, helping you to check out what every neighborhood has to offer).
* Make a list of wants and needs - make notes as you explore on what you like and don’t like in each neighborhood. Compare your lists after to narrow things down.
* Even if you don’t have kids, schools affect resale value and future demand.
* Consider your work commute - if you’re relocating for work you don’t want to end up with a longer commute than expected
* Find a Realtor who knows their stuff and is able to guide you to the neighborhoods that will fit your needs and wants best and is knowledgable on the market in each area so you can make the choice that best fits your needs
