πΎ Walter Update πΎ
Walter is sweet AND spicy πΆοΈπ He has absolutely no trouble letting everyone know βNOβ when he has opinions to share.
He loves burrowing deep into his cave beds and even sleeps infoster momβs bed. Exploring outside and soaking up the sunshine have become some of his favorite activities. When the mood strikes β or a tiny critter appears in the yard β Walter will even break into a run!
Walterβs quality of life has improved so much since arriving in rescue. His recent bloodwork showed significant improvement, and his chest x-rays and ultrasound showed no evidence of cancer β wonderful news for this sweet boy.
His dental is coming up Saturday, and everyone is hopeful it will help him continue feeling better and enjoying life even more.
Walter keeps everyone laughing and smiling every day. π Huge thank you to his foster mom - Lisa, for never giving up on him and giving him all the β€οΈ he deserves.

πΎ The Many Faces of Snoopy πΎ
One thing Snoopy has made very clearβ¦ he loves sticking his tongue when foster mom is taking photos ππ
Itβs his signature move. Every day his personality gets a little bigger, his confidence grows a little more, and he keeps finding new ways to make everyone smile.

Happy Adoption Day, Blue! π
From a neglected and abused boy to the happily ever after you always deserved. Watching your journey from fear and uncertainty to love and safety has been truly special.
A huge thank you to his incredible foster moms, Mallory & Jocelyn, for giving Blue the patience, structure, and unconditional love he needed to heal and learn what it means to be cherished.
Now Blue begins his next chapter with his amazing new parents and his little sister. Though she is blind and deaf, we know Blue is going to be the very best big brother and loyal companion. πΎ
This is what rescue is all about. Happy tails, sweet boy. π

Thank you for supporting rescue efforts and helping us give dogs a second chance.
πΎ Snoopyβs healing journey has begun π
Sweet Snoopy came to rescue needing a little extra help. Right now even short walks tire him out, but with joint medication, healthy food, trimmed nails, and gentle exercise, heβs already making progress.
He may be slow, but he LOVES being outside sniffing and exploring Krystals farm. Shes taking baby steps and cheering for every little victory. πΆβ¨
π« Snoopy is not yet available for adoption β follow along on his journey.

π Happy Adoption Day, Mia! π
This sweet senior girl is officially headed home to Salem with her wonderful new parents. π©·
Her adopters previously welcomed another rescue dachshund into their hearts and, after losing their pup two years ago, they were ready to love again. They told us, βWe need her just as much as she needs us.β πΎ
Here she is checking out her new yard.
