The couple are serious fans of the Texas Tech football team—we had to delay their ceremony because the Texas Tech vs. Texas State game went into overtime! Naturally, they had to incorporate the school where they met into their day. So, they ordered a groom’s cake in addition to their wedding cake from Dream Cakes. It was a replica of the Jones AT&T Stadium, where the team plays, and it was truly epic!! Haley & Joe’s wedding last September was a logistical challenge, since the venue was a private residence. There was no onsite parking, so we had to arrange for guests to shuttle from off-site parking and hotels in the Gorge to the ceremony site. Additionally, every rental and décor piece had to be transported onsite, including restroom trailers, lighting, generators, tableware, and linens. Haley and Joe held a backyard wedding at the bride’s family home in Stevenson, Washington, overlooking the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. Brianna and Jack wanted to host their ceremony and reception dinner outdoors, on the gorgeously manicured grounds of Waverley Country Club. Inclement weather was a concern. So, our team advised them to host both events under a clear-top tent. These tents allow you and your guests to take in the beauty of the outdoor environment while remaining sheltered from the elements. However, this also meant that our team had to flip the ceremony tent into a dinner tent. We only had one hour while the couple and their guests enjoyed cocktails and a raw bar by the riverside. Brianna & Jack wed on September 3rd, 2022, at Waverley Country Club. Their wedding day was epic! Over 250 guests joined them from Brianna’s native Portland, Jack’s hometown on the East Coast, and the couple’s shared home of L.A. to celebrate their union. Kiki and Nick’s sailcloth tent reception epitomized elegance, from the décor to the cuisine. They selected a timeless black-and-white color palette to direct the design, which looked strikingly beautiful against the brilliant green of the outdoor setting.

Kiki and Nick held their wedding at Waverly Country Club on August 27th, 2022. The former high school sweethearts envisioned an intimate black-tie affair. We were delighted to help them bring that vision to life at one of our favorite Portland wedding venues. The couple’s loved ones were so excited to watch them finally tie the knot. So, it was a collaborative effort in creating the most stunning day imaginable. The celebratory mood lasted all day and night, from the waterfront ceremony to the bouquet toss! This British inspired wedding at the Sentinel Hotel last July, was beautifully brought to life by some of our most beloved vendors. With inspiration from both Portland (bride) and England (groom), some of our favorite nods to the groom’s British culture were the “Queen’s Table” (instead of King’s), their signature Pimm’s Cup Cocktail, & a candy table filled with British sweets brought directly over from England by the groom himself!
