Councilor Sameer Kanal kept his principles and values on this one. The Portland Police fought him at every step. Yes the feds will push back. But Kanal understands that all Portlanders, especially our immigrant families and neighbors, are worth fighting for in the face of this corrupt and lawless federal government.
