All of the galleries are going to be open and swingin’ for Last Thursday On Alberta tomorrow but only one of them is going to have my original artwork on display!
Slip into the Alberta Street Gallery if you have the chance and check out their two new show openings:
“Impressions” which will be in the front windows and features printmakers Angela Morrow and Jimmy Wright with their monotypes and block prints.
“Pressed” will be on display in Lavaun’s Gallery (a side gallery inside of Alberta Street Gallery) and is a group printmaking invitational where submissions include linocut, screenprint (my weapon of choice), photogravure, monotype, gelli plate, mezzotint, and etchings.
Show receptions are from 6-9pm on Thursday the 25th and they’ll stay up on display through July 27th

Tomorrow is the first official Last Thursday On Alberta street fair of 2026, and I thought it’d be fun to share these photos of my very first setups there in 2016

It’s almost time for my favorite neighborhood street fair: Last Thursday On Alberta! 🎈🎉
Idk where exactly I’m going to be yet - hopefully between NE 17th & NE 20th if it works out - but you should mark your calendars 🗓️ This is the first month where they close the street & it gets WILD (in a good way!)
To find me, look for the table with the bonehead alien coyote banner 🍖🐺 I’ll have stickers, original watercolored screen prints & lino postcards and smiles to share with you
Also maybe free Nicolas Cage stickers?? Maybe! You’ll just have to swing by, say hi and find out!!

“Orange Crush”
A limited edition of screen printed artworks made with water based screen printing ink, watercolors, tempera paint and spray paint
What other people like or believe isn’t really any of my business.
I’ll tell you what I believe, though:
Real art should be made by humans. Human minds using human means to produce art informed by lived, human experiences.
I’d rather see an event flyer scribbled with a crayon than something made by a program fed prompt words and trained onto the stolen artwork of others.
Sooner would I go to an exhibition filled with cracked ceramics made by someone who had fun, than a person presenting walls of fake photography dreamt up by a machine.
Give me imperfection made by a person who has lived. Show me passion and ideas from your heart and mind. Spare me the artificially generated simulacra.
