Creature Party

Something special was born Wednesday night, and we’re not just talking about Alex and Camden from the wombs of Mama Lil and Zaddy Rachael. Special doesn’t begin to describe what kind of a night Pop and Puppetry was for us. We are so honored we were invited to play and that we were partnered up with the absolute dream team , , and Matthew. Collaborations like this are what we live for, and we can’t even describe how much of a viiibe this Creature Crew was. All we can say is you haven’t seen the last of Raggedy Creature Party Guy-thew (well maybe the last of that couple name, we’ll workshop that).

And don’t get us started on the lineup! and and their respective puppet teams pulled on all our heart strings and had us dancing like marionettes!

And huuuuuge thanks to everyone who showed up! What an amazing crowd of lovely people breathing life into each act. So magical, and if you missed it, we’re sorry but there will be more videos to come!

We’re heading into our winter hibernation so we don’t know when you’ll see us next. We’ll be taking some time to write and continue to bask in the power of Pop and Puppetry! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ok wow Halloweekend felt like we were in another dimension! Our cups runneth over….

Halloween night, Olympians showed us how they get doooowwwwn at ! What an amazing space and incredible people to go with it—we are so grateful we were able to share such a wild night with our friends too!

Saturday night was the cover show of all cover shows! Lily drummed in Coral Fang (The Distillers), Alex, Lily, and Camden je**ed back ‘n’ forth in Devo Cup (Devo), and Alex and Rachael multiplied chills in P***y Wagon (Grease). We are still recovering from such an epic weekend but we do have another wild show on the horizon!

November 15, Creature Party returns for our first Portland show in a bit for a Double B-Day show for Alex (CP) and Cricket of with fellow Halloween collaborators and bffs ! Theme is cow/cowboy/girl/person, and we just might be doing another chaos set and upping the ante so you’ll probably want to be there! At our old haunt at 9 pm.

Whoa .bomb.records fest was HOTT 🔥! Thanks all for showing up and partying like it wasn’t 100 degrees! We always have the best time and this was also the hottest time. Something pretty cool (not too cool) coming up next weekend for everyone out there who likes FUN! The next Creature Party (and last local show for a couple months) is coming in hot Saturday September 6 at with friends and for Geek Week! What other bill will have you bopping along to songs about 80s movies, avocado phones and UFOs?! Will we be rolling the dice to determine our set list? Will Camden be the dragon mama? Do we all need some pocket protectors? I don’t know yet; we’re working on it.

Creature Party comin’ atcha for some cool August stuff! First up, we’re super stoked to play August 9 at the with , and ! Come grab some food and dance with it!

Next up is the party of the summer August 23 .bomb.records block party. We’re playing 5:30 at The Trough. You know you love it, and you know we’ll be there all day for 50 bands, 5 venues, 1 really good day.

Oooooooooh boy Olympia never disappoints! Thanks to .bomb.records and for putting on a killer festival this past weekend, and thanks to everyone for coming out and killing it on the choreo and the screams and the vibes! All of the bands were awesome, and the lack of AC at the hotel just made the weekend all the more hot 🥵 🔥!

Up next this Saturday 6/14 is PUNK ROCK PRIDE! rules and booked an amazing benefit festival supporting and we are stooooked to be playing the all ages stage at aka the Concrete Sound Cannon (in the alley next to Bar Carlo on Foster). We play second at 4 pm sharp so get ready to start the party early and keep the party going late when it moves over to ! Lots of amazing bands and other q***r artists and fun fun fun! The world was a dumpster fire and no one could save you but music festivals! And guess what? We’ve got two really sick ones coming up! First this Saturday 6/7 in Olympia we’re playing Capital Radio Day with 20 other awesome bands from the PNW! We play at 8:45 at McCoys. Then a real flaming good time ahead in Portland with Punk Rock Pride 🔥 Saturday 6/14! We play 4 pm at Bar Carlo, and it’s ALL AGES so get your daytime party hats on and get ready to rage all day!

🚨News Flash! 🚨 We made a really cool music video for our song “UFO” off of “The Meaning of Being”, and we’re releasing it to the world! We are putting on a very special release party before it’s officially live in collaboration with , so you can catch it on the big screen with us Saturday 5/10 at ! This will be a lil official pre- .bomb.records Halfway to Halloween Happy Hour 5-7 right across from where the H2H action takes place later. Get some snacks and bevs, watch a music video, and meet the famous NOVA who makes a pretty important cow-meo in the vid. She will be signing autographs and probably giving everyone lil cow kisses if you want them.
