Behind the scenes of a TV pilot I directed.

Third draft of "A Superior 68" is finished. I think it's important in any writing that the first thing we hear, read, or see is given a lot of thought and introspection. That opening moment is very powerful, as it sets the tone for the rest of the work. For example one of the best opening lines ever written is in Stephen King's "The Gunslinger." "The man in black fled across the desert, and the Gunslinger followed." Not to compare myself to King, but here's the opening line of "A Superior 68." Rick VO: I was born with a hole in my head. Now, that might sound like the beginning of a bad joke, but it isn't, it's true."

Another scene in the feature script "A Fatal Life" completed. You know the saying "it's always darkest before the dawn?" Yeah, well, I'm not even to the half way point on this script and I'm already itching for some daylight.

"Breecher" has been pushed back till after November.

Was told it's impossible to light a night time pic solely on the light given off from a muzzle flash and nothing else......
