NEW VIDEO https://youtu.be/mFBdIccOtz0
In this video I talk about some of the ways that I've added additional weeks and months of blooms and fun to my garden using diminutive, yet adorable, spring blooming bulbs. These early-season treasures share space well and bloom in the quiet seasons of winter and early spring. As the garden season progresses they fade away and give way to other layers in the garden occupied by perennials, grasses, and other plants. If you have visible gaps in your garden in winter/early spring you have opportunities! Galanthus (snowdrops), Crocus, miniature daffodils, species tulips—to name a few.

I’m not a person that prays for snow. But when it happens, I guess we need to roll with it and revel in its beauty.

Winter is the perfect time to make plans for the upcoming garden season. I've been busy adding new combos and planting plans to the eGardenGo site. Many plans include renderings like the one pictured here to help you visualize how the combination would look in an actual garden situation.
DOZENS OF PLANTING PLANS AVAILABLE ON THE EGARDENGO SITE.
I'll be adding additional planting plans regularly. There are hundreds of plant combination ideas available for free on the site. Some of the combinations have digital downloads of easy-to-follow planting plans available for a small fee.

Lush and unstressed — guess that’s what plenty of water and heat yields. Wonderful color stories and beautifully tended plantings in the gardens surrounding the visitor center.
