Maia (Cristina Fuentes) started Wet Mango in 2008. They are a part of the group Sonic Death Rabbit with the legendary Baseck.
Their self-proclaimed style is "Distorted 16-bit hardcore b***y bass in your face dystopian sci-fi fantasy music." Wet Mango uses a mix-match of lo-fi and hi-fi electronic equipment. She produces and performs live with gear such as GameBoys with LSDJ & Korg DS-10, Korg MS 2000B, Monotron Reverb, & Volca Beats, Digital & Analog Synths & Keyboards, samplers, and whatever else she can gets her hands
