Honoring Our Rivers publishes student (K-college) artwork and creative writing inspired by rivers and the watersheds in an annual anthology alongside a handful of regional professionals. Students submit hundreds of thought-provoking, charming and whimsical entries each year that challenge us to reflect on how the health and prosperity of our river systems impact this place we call home.

Entries for the 2026 Anthology have already started coming in! Students and teachers from around the state are creating art and poetry in honor of Oregon's rivers and watersheds. The deadline for submission is April 30, 2026. www.clearingmagazine.org/anthology
