8 years ago today we posted the very first photo to this account and The Gay Beards was born 🥹 Never in a million years did we expect it to become what it has, and for the rest of our lives we will be forever grateful for the people we have come to know, the places we have been able to see, and the love we have received from people all over the world. At the start of it all, we were just two goofy kids wanting to make people laugh, and do our small part to help the world be a little happier. We are still those kids today (as you can see) and we cherish every single day that we get to wake up and be our ridiculous selves as two gay bearded best friends. Thank you for loving us, thank you for believing in us, and thank you for being you - here’s to another 8!! ❤️❤️

To our q***r brothers and sisters, and everyone in between - if you haven’t come out yet, haven’t been accepted, have been bullied, judged, ostracized, or made to feel lesser than because of who you love, how you identify, or the way you express yourself. We see you, we love you, we’re here for you, and we promise, it really does get better. ❤️‍🩹 🌈

Nobody got through the darkness without looking towards the light ❤️

What a trip, what a place, and what a way to get there! Flying Alaska Airlines non-stop from Portland, Oregon to Sonoma County was so easy and such a treat. We love to because it’s easy to see why Portland International Airport is ranked the #1 airport in the United States. So many local food options, easy to navigate, pet friendly, AND there is a movie theater! After an amazing flight down to California, we spent a few days at the Healdsburg Food & Wine festival enjoying so many of the amazing wines and food from around the region – and the best part? Getting to bring them back home with us at no cost! On Alaska Airlines, when you travel home from one of many destinations along the west coast! This way you can actually bring home some of the memories of your trip without having to ship them home or worrying about the added cost. We will definitely be going back soon and can’t wait to share more of Sonoma with you!

Whatever you’re afraid of.. Finding love, making a move, changing jobs, getting older, being alone, finding yourself, losing yourself. Let fear go. If you’re afraid to make a change because you don’t know what tomorrow brings, just know, tomorrow is not enough.
