I’m finishing up my third masters, which means I will soon be returning to my creative writing process. Here’s a macro overview of what that will look like:

1) Consistent work on novels; at least 500 words every day in at least one of my two fiction manuscripts.

2) Consistent work on poetry; at least one new poem three times each week.

3) Working on poetry also means continuing to revise and edit my second poetry manuscript, Sonnets for Post-Divorce Photosynthesis, and revising and editing my third poetry manuscript, A Body Ripe for Talons.

4) Consistent posting of new poems to Instagram at least a few times a week.

5) READING MORE BOOKS. I’m behind on my Goodreads goal and I need to get some of these books done so I can move on to new ones.

That’s the basics. It’s gonna happen in two weeks.

Sometimes relationships end because they need to shed old skin. Sometimes the shedding leads to a new beginning. And sometimes love really is strong enough to chase away shadows.

I’m in my last two weeks of my final semester of grad school.

Oof. It’s been a minute. Personal life kinda blew up. But it’s on the mend. I’m still alive. I’m still writing (slowly). How are yall doing?

Wrote 500 words in Hands of the Order book 3 last night! Here’s to 500 more today!
