"After 17 years in engineering and business, I opted to seek a different path. After 3 years of unwinding, I opened Lady E to blend my appreciation for handmade pottery with my fascination with science (so much physics and chemistry!) and my experience in business.

"Today, I create small batch, colorful and functional handmade pottery. Specialties include carved bowls, vases, mugs, small plates and ice cream bowls."

Sarah Ashcroft started pottery on the wheel a year and a half ago. loves to experiment with glazes and the surprises they bring. Her work often focuses on creating pieces that hold something that grows, vessels made for living things.
