Wanted to give the new While on Earth hats a spot on the grid because I really like how they turned out. Designed by me, the fart around nylon cap features Kurt Vonnegut’s handwriting and the While on Earth sad snail. The WOE cotton cap in vintage camo expresses something I’ve loved about the shop’s name since the beginning. While on Earth’s concept is hopeful and meant to help folks access creativity and purpose, but I can’t pretend the other side doesn’t exist and that’s why I love that our initials are W.O.E. We experience the full spectrum of human emotions around here! Thanks to Panther Printing USA for the great quality hats and fast embroidery job. Yall killed it. Stop by and grab one! Celina Roseman is coming back for a September clay play session!

In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn the main handbuilding techniques (pinch, coil, and slab), then put them into practice with guided creative time to make up to two finished pieces. This workshop includes 2 lbs of clay per student, tools, optional underglaze for painting on illustrations, glazes of your choice (clear, white, black, lavender or forest green), and kiln firings.

Join Jess, owner of While on Earth, for a fun Saturday morning workshop playing around with the cyanotype print process!

A cyanotype is a contact print made by exposing UV reactive chemicals to sunlight 🌞💙

We’ll do some test prints on paper to get the hang of the process, and then move on to fabric (bandanas). Students can also bring totes or clothing to experiment on as well!

Join Lea of For Love of Plants in this fun and educational workshop creating your own terrarium! Everyone will be provided with a large mason jar to create your mini ecosystem. (Larger vessels can be purchased from Lea at an additional charge during the workshop.)

Lea will then guide you through building up your terrarium and designing the layout using sand, rocks, moss, plant clippings and more!

You’ll leave with all the knowledge you need to care for your new terrarium at home.

This is a beginner friendly workshop! Come ready to get your hands dirty and have a lot of fun.

The shop is turning TWO! To celebrate, I’m throwing a little party 🎉 Come hang out, eat some free snacks, buy some yummy drinks, shop a big sale! ALL of the artists at mother.milk.tattoo are going to create While on Earth inspired flash sheets and will be tattooing all during the party! Jessica Watkins will be setting up a super cute photo booth to take portraits of you and your pets! It’s going to be a fun afternoon. Help us celebrate 2 years of fartin around! See you there! 🥳
