Had fun in today’s class with whatever this is lol

Some studies from today’s class. I wish I could say I had fun with it but I didn’t really feel like getting out of bed AND YET I showed up, put brush to paper and tried to experiment a little and get out of my comfort zone. It’s definitely not my best work but it’s valuable experimentation with color and form, etc

Had fun with this piece for the seven deadly sins show at opening next week. Inspired by the Russian folktale Vasilisa the Beautiful. Details below ⬇️

Last year I inadvertently started junk journaling when I started making this scrapbook/zine of my adventures with Kepi. I made the book from old paper bags glued together. A gentle reminder that art doesn’t have to be pretty, perfect or for profit. I started making this just for fun but I thought it would be a really nice birthday gift for
