It was so nice to be reminded of what Oregon weddings could look like. This wedding awakened my love for weddings so much. Thank you and

The perfect light to highlight how beautiful this detail of her dress was. I’m such a sucker for non-traditional wedding details..

Almost a year of marriage for these two. Where does the time go?

It’s been a while since I last posted, so I wanted to check in and let you in on what’s going on!!
I’ve been back home in Portland for 3 weeks now and kept my bookings to a low minimum and didn’t even announce that I’m booking. I really wanted this visit to be less hectic than usual. I wanted to recharge and give my wedding clients full attention and priority. I’m also focusing on my design work and that’s been taking most of my time as of lately.
But since I’m getting messages about bookings, I’m ABSOLUTELY still taking some on for the next 2 weeks and more at the end of August, and end of September here in Portland.
I’ve been wanting to step away from photography and take a breather but what I realized is that what burned me out was not my client work but all the collaboration shoots I’ve been doing. So I’m saying no to those as great as they have been.
I feel strongly about giving priority to my clients only at this point.

Also the biggest news perhaps is that as of late spring 2020, if all goes well I will finally be relocating back to PORTLAND for good! Praying that God paves the road and there are no more obstacles. But it’s looking good! So I’ll be uninterrupted, all yours, invested into my community and clients more than ever. I already can’t wait for 2020 summer and be able to serve all the brides and couples.
So there’s that!

One day I’ll miss living in a city (and country) that has real castles.
How crazy is that? German castles are always so dreamy.
